The air stream direction alters from one nostril to the other by gently occluding the opposite nostril. Focus the attention only to breath, clears the nostrils, and balances the two breathing passageways. Creates calmness and emotional balance, sharpens
concentration and stabilize the nervous system in general.
Goal: Harmonization of the two brain hemispheres/ Balance of sympathetic and parasympathetic dominance.
